James Ford
James Ford, better known by the alias of "Sawyer", is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's early life was ravaged by the con man who ultimately claimed both his parent's lives through conning them, instantly orphaning him. As a child, he wrote a letter to this con man, hoping to deliver it to him in person one day. Sawyer set out to search for him, presumably after he left school, however he, himself, ultimately became a con man and became the man he was hunting, became Sawyer. Revenge plays a big part in Sawyer's life, starting with the real Sawyer. On the island, Sawyer has often used his abilities to con people to get his wishes, and keeps a stash of useful items with him. However, after the death of the real Sawyer, he has begun to rethink his ways and is slowly turning into a leader for the survivors.
He escaped from the captivity of the Others with Kate, and has formed a relationship with her.

There are at least 2 moments where French is spoken. The first time "Travel at great speeds over a long distance" is said. I didn't catch the 2nd quote because there's so much other noise.

2. "What makes you angry?"
3. then a flash of a deformed carrot and 4 pelvis and spine bones all lined up..
4. I think there is reverse speech or something from sec 29-31
5. "Why does the female black widow spider eat the male after mating?"
6. "Who will be your constant"
7. The last frames a picture of Little Red Riding hood in bed next to the big bad wolf
I am sure I missed some things but does anyone have thoughts as to what it all means.. IF anyone can figure out what is being said in from second 29-31 that would be great.

I noticed today that they updated the my progress and leaderboard sections.
My progress just says that I the Eligibility Test and Test 1 are complete.
It also says that my current group is Ganymede.
Anybody know what this means? I realize Ganymede is the name of one of Jupiter's moons but is it good to be in group Ganymede or what?
Oh yeah, my Dharma points is zero. I read on another website that you have to recruit people to get Dharma points.
I wonder what this ARG is going to acomplish? I was hoping to get some information about the show, but so far it doesn't seem to be going that way.

after i took the test i wrote down the questions as best as i could remember them. i didn't do it during the test because the test is timed and it affects your score. also, it tells you that your first score is the only one that counts, even if you take the test over, which they will allow you to do but they warn you that all the questions will be different. i only did the test the one time and i think i did horrible.
if anyone is interested the questions were (not in order):
(all answers were multiple choice, i will list the choices given underneath the question)
1. Which two of these conjunctions are always together ?
(whether, or ; neither, or ; and, but)
2. which of these drugs are anti-biotics?
(bunch of drug names i didn't recognize and don't remember)
3. What russian woman is known for spending the longest stay in space in 1995?
( i got this wrong, i picked the only answer with the name Valentina, but she was the
first woman in space not the one with the longest stay...)
4. which of these post-impressionist painters is known for tahitian subject matter?
(gaugain, rousseau, van gogh...i should have known the answer was rousseau...duh!)
5. who was heathcliff's love in wuthering heights
(catherine, the only one i KNOW i got right)
6. what is the second layer of skin under the top layer?
( i got this right, too. it's the dermis)
7. what word describes medical knowledge based on experience?
(i picked "empirical", think it's right, can't remember the other words)
8. which has the largest land area?
(of the four places listed, i only remember two: nepal and syria. the other two i
literally had never heard of)
9. what is the answer to this question?
(no joke. the answers listed were: "A, B, C, D"
If i can help any of you get a better score by giving you a head's up on these questions, then good. because i totally bombed and the site says something about people being "picked" based on their assessment which is based on the scores. maybe if i don't get picked someone else will (folie???) and tell me what happens!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think I did very well on the test. I had a couple of the same questions as you did pchee. I had the dermis question and the antibiotic. I just guessed on the antibiotic question.
I also had a book and a impressionist painter question, but they were different. It wanted to know the love interest for the main character in the Great Gatsby. And the painter question had Manet, Monet, and two others.
The last question I can remember was asking for the capital of Australia's Northern Territory.
