Season 5 dates - Page 3

If the mods are going to reprimand anyone for offensive behavior, they do not have to do so publicly, and they certainly do not need to notify any of us about the results of their judgement.

I've read all the related posts in this forum, and it sounds to me like you need to take a step back and calm down...this was a month ago, why bring it up again? You seem to take offense and then come out swinging when it's entirely possible that no one was intentionally trying to offend you.

Web posts are like emails, they are just words. Even mine!

I went to Oahu to check out the filming sights - The ranch where they filmed Hurley's Golf Course and the crash site beach and then the main beach scenes area (they are all surprisingly far away from each other)

The tour guide said that they were gonna be filming 2 days after I was there - and that was about 2 weeks ago. So i think they have just started filming again

Thats cool. Do you (or anybody) know if that is the only island they film on? I was looking at planning a vacation to Hawaii but cant decide where to go. Oahu sounds like a good place to go if I can see the cast.

I think some of us has chosen not to bicker. That is all.

I really am completely calm, a month later! Hahahaha! I only bring it up because nothing was done about it. People directly called me out when I was rude, and yet said nothing to her. Just wondering if this was the usual practice- to reprimand some, but not all. I always try to follow through!
I cannot see how calling me a fool was not intentionally trying to hurt me. Just my opinion!
Hopefully something was done about it privately, if not publicly! Words can be very hurtful, even if it is on the computer!

It's also a good idea to take some time before responding to some post that looked offensive the first time read. This medium could be particularly difficult to interpret what's said, considering it's nothing like talking face-to-face.

Every member of the forum can use the 'report post' option or PM the moderators individually for posts s/he finds unacceptable with respect to forum rules & guidelines. That helps if it's a busy time like when the show's back, or when it's relatively quiet like these days, without mods around all the time.

Having said that, I don't find it necessary to get involved with some already exaggerated dispute and call one forum member 'fool' in defense of another. Let's just keep in mind we're all a bunch of nick-names here to discuss what is simply a TV show..and leave it there

So,,,ah....,(awkward pause).... how about that Season 5? Anybody know an actual air date for the premiere???

I have seen 2 different dates floating around one for the end of January 09 and one for the first week of Feb 09.. I don't think there has been a date confirmed as of yet!

Either one of those times seems like FOREVER! Ugh!
