Wasn't sure where to put this. I'm reading old issues since I was traveling and now and totally out of date about world events.

For what it's worth:

In a nutshell: In 1948 Hendrik Casimir discovered that the virtual matter and anti-matter particles that wink in and out of existence so fast in a vaccuum that they cannot be detected (according to Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle) can actually be detected. Experiment have shown that the Casimir Effect (which to me sound a lot like magnetism) can be reduced by 80% if ethanol is involved. I have no idea what this means, but maybe it has something to do with how the island was moved/disappeared?
