Why hasn't Aaron been taken?????

Ok since we have been on a nice little break from Lost it got me thinking. From the tail section all of the children were taken, Walt was taken all by the others. Does anyone have any theories or ideas on why Aaron was not taken. The other seem more than capable of taking whoever they want. We know they were intrested in Aaron and taking him before Claire gave birth to him but they didn't try anything afterward.

That makes me wonder they still have Zack and Emma, They did state they got more than they bargined for with Walt and that he was Special then let him go back home with Michael.. but nothing about Aaron...

Thought this might get some of us thinking in "LOST MODE" while we still have a little more than 2 full weeks before new Lost..

Ya know I did wonder why they haven't showed the kids since the episode you mentioned that she said Walt was more than they bargened for, I just thought I missed something. So maybe they wern't as safe as they said. Were the kids on the other island to beging with?

From the tail section the little boy and girl (Zack and Emma) were taken by the others.. They were on their way from Austrillia to LA to meet their mother at the airport in LA..

Last seen in season 3 Zack and Emma were fine and appeared in the company of Cindy the flight attendant who is happy to be with the others as far as I can tell from the way she talked to Jack in Stranger in a Land..

It seems very strange that Aaron is the ONLY child the others have not successfully taken or have even tried again.. I am shocked that the others would let 2 children now leave.. Walt and Aaron.. Walt they did have for a time and did whatever testing they wanted to before he left.. Aaron is a different case, they have not had him since he was born and he does make it off the island.. Seems kinda I don't know out of character for the Others.. I do realize that the others kinda have their hands full with the Friegher People coming but that would make me think they would want a child even more..

Guess the fact that the Others don't take Aaron and he does get off the island seems strange to me..

Here's what I've wondered about with the kids - Carl... yes, we saw him in room 23, but it seemed he had a lot of freedom to run around with Alex, even though Ben did not like him. If he was being tested (room 23) why is he not kept with the other kids; but if he's allowed to have freedom, why aren't the other kids around (we know Zack and Emma were with Juliet for awhile) but why aren't any outside on that swingset or riding that bike?

I've been trying to stay in "Lost Mode", but with 2 weeks left, it's soooooo difficult. Argghhh.

Weren't all the kids taken almost right after the plane crash? Except Walt, who was taken off the boat. And actually, it wasn't just kids taken either. Cindy is a good example.
It think all the kidnappings occurred when the Losties were still disorganized (more so then they are now) and when the Others had a person in the Losties' group (Ethan, Goodwin).
Maybe lately it's just been too difficult to gather up more people now that the Losties are warned against them and the Others don't have a spy in the group (that we know of).

The thing I find wierd is that all the people that have been kidnapped are all ok with living with the Others now. What happened to them? Were they brainwashed? Or is it just better to be living with the Others? It really makes me curious what goes on when new people are brought to the Others.
I want a Walt flashback that shows what happened when he was taken off that boat! I want to see what tests he did and stuff like that!

It seems that "the others" only want to take "the good people" - you know Ben keeps saying "I'm one of the good guys" - and it has been implied that somethings a little off with Aaron. Remember the psychic telling Claire that her baby needed to be raised by her because it needed her good influence. He said "Your nature... your spirit -- your goodness... must be an influence in the development of this child." Perhaps "the others" take the "innocents" which usually include children but when Ethan kidnapped Claire they sensed something "evil" or "bad" about Aaron.

I was re-reading a lot of the transcripts from "Raised by Another" and I remember exactly what you are talking about.. I agree.. There is something about Aaron.. Maybe they did feel he was bad or evil that is the best answer I have heard so far...

Remember how Ben always says he/his side are the good guys.. Well when the psysic is sending Claire on Flight 815 he said that the people in LA were "good people"
Now I understand that he very well could have been lying to Claire to get her to crash on the island but what if there was a couple in LA.. Could it have been someone working for the others "the good people"? and by fate or coincidence they still crashed on the island..

Both Walt and Aaron have been referred to as "special" the others wanted Walt and after one attempt to get Aaron they give up? Could they be the ying and yang to eachother.. One capable of "good" and one "bad"???? Maybe that is why Aaron is allowed to leave.. Could his being raised by Kate influance the bad side of him..

I guess I just feel there is something more that has not been talked about in a long while about Aaron..

No one ever said Aaron was evil the psychic said danger or disaster. Found this:

I wouldnt categorize Kate as evil either. Sure, she preformed evil acts but it came from a good place- she thought it was the right thing to do. Then again, the path to hell is paved with good intensions.
It's kinda odd that Walt was raised by another- his mom and step dad. Do you think his life/powers/what have you would have been drastically different had he stayed with Mike?

Your right about what Malkin said to Claire and I used that very same text when I was thinking about this thread.. I also know no one has said that Aaron is Evil.. But being raised by someone other than Claire he could end up bad..

I really when I started this thread was trying to figure out why the Others never came back for Aaron after Alex and Danielle helped Claire escape from Ethan the day they were going to cut the baby (aaron) out of her..

My point is the Others did want Aaron.. Claire escapes.. Has the Baby.. And they never try to get him again.. Why?

I know that Ethan takes her without any of the others knowledge. Did Ethan want her and Aaron or were the Others going to take him but Ethan had to act in haste to get her when the Losties realized he wasn't on the plane.. After that was it too risky?

Oh how I fogot completely about all of this!

So both Goodwin and Ethan acted as independent agents once they inflitrated. Goodwin saw Anna Lucia as one of the 'good guys' while Ethan sought to get Aaron.

The other's pretty much stopped all the kidnapping after they saw that the Losties could fight back (ie: Ethan and Goodwin). Could be that they had who they wanted at that time or that they werent worth it? I have no idea.

I wonder who all those other surgeons were in the operating room if Ethan was working alone...couldnt have been Juliette....
