Yeah, I think Kate got it right when she said he was being so hateful on purpose because he felt he deserved to be shunned.
After all, he did kill an innocent man and I really hate the
"I had a terrible childhood, so I should be able to get away with
everything" mentality, but I think he can turn out decent.
He can still be a jerk, but guess if I was recovering from a gunshot
wound I would still be a little grumpy - especially if I couldn't have Diet Coke.
