Bernard Nadler

Bernard Nadler is a tail section survivor of the crash of Oceanic Flight 815 and the husband of Rose. He is the only tail section survivor that has not been killed, captured, or assimilated in to the Others. He wasn't seated in the tail section, and was only there when the plane crashed because he was using the bathroom then. Bernard cares very much for Rose and feels a need to fix things, like her cancer, not dissimilar to Jack.

Default How did you first get hooked on Lost?

Poll question:

How did you FIRST get hooked on Lost?

a.) I've been watching it on TV from the very first season.

b.) I watched the first season on dvd or online to get caught up, then started watching it on TV.

c.) I watched the first two seasons on dvd or online to get caught up, then started watching it on TV.

d.) First three seasons on dvd or online, etc.

I'm just curious because personally, I came to Lost late. I watched the first 2 seasons on dvd, and it was so much fun to watch all the episodes together. I think it helped to understand everything better. I kind of miss being able to watch it that way. I watched most of season 3 online so I could work out in the afternoon during the shows, but now I just can't wait an extra day!

A

I have been watching on TV since the Pilot episode.
this is the first TV series I have every done that with.

I am a very big Buffy and Angel fan but I never watched these shows when they were new. I have the 7 seasons of Buffy and the 5 seasons of Angel on DVD.

d.)
I think I started watching Season 3 towards the end of the season, like when the polar bear appeared, got instantly addicted, and started checking out DVDs on Netflix to catch up with the story, also the internet was a big help. I really liked Locke, I think he sold me on the show because I have a lot of friends into survivalism and it was cool to watch him track boar and so on, also cool watching the Losties make camp with native materials and salvaged stuff from the crash. I was a big Gilligan's Island fan too, even though the show was a bit before my day, it was still in syndication when I was a kid.
On T.V. show addiction. I rarely get addicted to shows but when it happens I am completely powerless. I'm way into anime and I couldn't rest until I'd seen every episode of Death Note, Full Metal Alchemist, Samurai Champloo, and Initial D.

My friend, Gummo, gave me the first few for free... I was nervous at first, but it was really fun. Now I can't get enough of it. I can't believe I'm going to go another month without it. My hands are shaky, have to stop writing.

I was instantly addicted when they started showing reruns of the first season (during the Christmas break).

I watched the 1st season on DVD since I was waitressing and worked Wed nights.. Watched season 1 in a week and 2 weeks later Season 2 aired and I have been taping each episode as it airs so I can watch it whenever I want.. Then when the seasons are released on DVD I buy those..

I foolishly ignored the show through the 1st season, then happened to watch Pilot when it was re-run later on. And I was hooked! I immediately downloaded (yes, I'm eeevil) the entire first season (yes, I did actually buy S1 later!). I marathoned S1 within a week, and I was ready just in time for the finale of S1 recap and the airing of Season 2.

I haven't missed an first run airdate since, nor do I plan to.
