Michael Dawson
Michael Dawson is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He had parental issues with his son, Walt, but the two have bonded with their time on the island. Michael shot dead Ana-Lucia and Libby in order to release Ben from captivity; and ultimately caused the capture of Jack, Sawyer and Kate, when he made a deal with the Others. His whereabouts are currently unknown after he left the Island with his son Walt on a motor boat.

Lots of dead people in FF
I was just reading another thread that was talking about Hurley's vision of Charlie in his flash forward, and it occurred to me that a lot of the flash forwards have dead people in them. 3 out of the 5 people.
Jack is screaming in the hospital about how his dad is probably drunker than he is. "Get my dad down here, and if I'm drunker than him...." etc. Of course, we all figured that this was just a very drunk, stressed out, and hopped up on drugs Jack who was confused. (hopped up on drugs is just a funny phrase )
Hurley is apparently plagued by visions of Charlie. Hanging out around Ho-Hos. Visiting him in the asylum. Trying to tell him what he needs to do. Of course, Hurley is a little nuts anyway, and probably just seeing things. Or the island is doing something. Or blah blah blah. "Who knows?" we all think.
And now Sun. Giving birth and screaming that she needs her husband. "Where's Jin?" and such. She even thinks she sees him for a second in the hallway outside her room. Of course, she's in a stressful situation. She's giving birth, the baby is in distress, and she shot up on drugs (hopped up, you could say). So we all think "Well, she's just stressed and whatever. Calling for her dead husband"
Taken individually, our assumptions make pretty good sense. But if you look at them all together, doesn't it seem....... odd? Maybe more than odd? What is going on with the dead people in the future?

CHARLIE: Can we just sit down?
HURLEY: I may be in a mental hospital, but I know you're dead and I'm not having an imaginary conversation with you.
[Charlie takes off his sunglasses and stares Hugo in the eyes]
CHARLIE: I am dead. But I'm also here.
HURLEY: Ok, prove it.

How can Charlie be dead and still there? Maybe there is more to that than we really realize.. Maybe Jack's father at some point visites him, Jin visites Sun.. Just a guess and what not.. No Proof but an idea!

Maybe after Jack then it is Kate.. OR Sun but each will go through it..
Well maybe not Sayid.. I think Sayid knows much more about everything since he works for Ben so he maynot be worried like the others since he now works for Ben..

Actually, I think Sun would've been first. The future timeline is a bit murky, but I think Sun had her kid, and then Hurley showed up and they visited Jin's grave, then Hurley starts seeing Charlie later on and gets himself committed. Jack comes and visits him in the mental hospital (Jack already starting his problems) and eventually Jack starts drinking and drugging pretty heavily. Sometime before that, Jack testifies (perjures himself) at Kate's trial. I have no idea when Sayid's FF occurred. I don't think there was any point of reference in that episode.

This is an interesting observation.
A simple explanation could be:
Jack talking about his dad is partly because of Jacks drug use, partly Jack's depression, and mostly the writers tricking us in to thinking it was a flashback.
Hurley has a history of seeing people that aren't there and having physical interactions with them. (if I remember right Dave threw something at Hurley and it hit him in the stomach. kinda like Charlies slap.)
The real interesting thing with Charlie's visit was that another patient saw him too.
And agree with what you said about Sun being under stress while giving birth.
I don't see what more it could mean. But I think there is more to it. And it will probably continue to be a theme as we see new flashforwards.

Well I would agree that Sun's FF took place before Kate, Hurley, and Jacks..
I only wanted to use examples of things that did take place.. Sun was calling out for Jin but I don't think that she was to the point we have seen Hurley and Jack who have been the only two who have said they need to go back.. That was all I was getting at..
I don't think we are going to know right away if it does mean anything but it does seem to be a theme..

So, does this mean that somehow the island brought him back to life, and then somehow he goes back with the rest and he is alive in the flash forward? Or, does it confirm the time travel theories and somehow he's travelling forward in time after he's dead? Or, does the island have good vibes for ghosts? I'm very confused . . .

I think the Lost powers that be have said that the Mobisodes, along with the Orchid film, can be taken as Lost gospel. So we can consider that scene true.
************************************************** *******
I basically believe in a parallel timeline/island in 1996-real time in early 2005 (now) & some time-travel sprinkled on the top thing going on and have this thought on the "ghosts" in the show.
Quote:
No one that we’ve seen on the island has actually left the island in the year 1996. So, while the losties are stuck in the year 1996, their counterparts have yet to play out their roles in the outside world in the years 1996–2004. Therefore, there aren’t “duplicates” of anyone on and off the island – UNTIL Desmond turns the failsafe key. At that point in time, the characters on the island have counterparts that are existing in the real world. Jack, once off the island, feels the need to go back because he knows that if he doesn’t beat DHARMA back to the island, then DHARMA will go back in time and kill everyone on the island in order to preserve the off-island timeline. If anyone on the island were to ever leave, and somehow use their “constant” to get off the island and into the real world, they could potentially do serious damage to the course of history. That is, if fate would allow them.
The ghosts and whispers are “fate’s way” of course correcting the universe and leading characters to certain actions – actions which will preserve a pre-determined timeline. Some of the ghost and whispers (Jack’s dad, Jacob, Eko’s brother, and Ben’s Mom) are actually “half dead” physical entities on the island (because they are still alive in the now separate "real" world timeline that was created when Desmond turned the failsafe key), and they can manifest to certain characters if their presence is needed to help course correct. Other entities (Walt, Kate’s Horse, Charlie, and Dave) are merely “visions” that only present themselves to help characters fulfill their fate.

Does this make sense? I hope it does.
