Naomi lying about the Airplane?

Lots of questions ---- par for Lost, right? Well...

I've seen theories of time travel, etc. and after tonight's episode it seems to be involved somehow. What about the plane on the news being found in the ocean and Naomi saying everyone was found dead?

Was she lying? Didn't the plane break in half and one half crash on the island and the tail land in the ocean right off the coast? Also, they show the pilot's body on the news and that's how Frank (helicopter pilot) gets involved, but I believe the pilot was found on the island alive in Season 1 and then killed by the monster-thing??? and found in a tree dead. What's the deal with this not adding up? And, did we ever get an answer about what the smoke was and the so called monster, smoke thing?

Lots of questions but I'll just start with these above. I'm confused.

First I think a lot of people know about this island and want to keep it a secret. I believe the plane that they showed was a fake and was put there so no one would ask questions. Does anybody remember when Naomi was talking to the black dude and she asks what if they are survivors, he firmly says there were no survivors of flight 815. Even with all this every person on the island has been study and memorized

Also we never got any real answers as to what the black smoke monster thing on the island really is. Also the polar bear the black horse, the cow, and Hurley's friend slash alternative personality, I believe are all figments of the characters imagination. The same can be said for the black fog monster thingy but I have my doubts

wow!!! thats all I can say. I have permanent goose bumps everytime I watch this thing. its sooo cunfusing but sooo good at the same time. very strange.

i think the plane was planted in the ocean and intended to be found so that people would stop looking for it and find the island.
