Question about Season 4 premier this week

I know the premier is on Thursday night, but I've heard rumors about a Seasons 1-3 recap on Wednesday night. That's not right, is it?

Wednesday night is the full two hour "Through the Looking Glass" episode which is the season 3 finale. Thursday night they are promoting as a two hour event but that is when the season 1-3 recap episode airs, followed of course by the new one!!!

In the last episode Jack talks with the new chief of surgery. He says something to the effect directing the chief to compare the sobriety of his father - who is upstairs (in the hospital) - to his own (Jack's). He meets with Kate (we should never have left) who says she had seen the news report of his hero episode - saving the kid and his mom on the bridge. Is this why there was no body in the casket and Jack had the visions of his dad.

could be, I've been feeling that Cristen wasn't dead ever since the premier.

wed night: replay of season 3 finale
thurs night: seasons 1 to 3 recap immediately followed by season 4 premier

and jack's father is still alive. has to be, because why would jack say that???

It could had just been his alcohol and drug induced stupor that made him forget his father was dead. I think it was also a way to make us believe that this was a flashback and not a flash forward. They were really good at keeping that questionable until the very end of that episode.
