3 scenes with radio contact have me stumped:

1.) In Season 1, Jack, Sawyer, Shannon, and Sayid make radio contact with someone the first time they hear Rousseau's message. 2.) Later that season, just before the Nigerian plane plummetted off the edge of the cliff above the question mark, Boone made radio contact with someone. 3.) In Season 2, Ana Lucia and the tailies made radio contact with someone in the flashback episode The Other 48 Days? Ana Lucia dismissed it as a ruse of the Others.

a. Were these separate events or were 2 of them the same event?
b. Which 2?
c. If it wasn't Ana Lucia who Boone heard, who was it? Do we know yet?

we see this in the epi titled "the other 48"

Ok, makes sense. But then do the Losties ONLY hear Rousseau's message or did they hear someone else too that time that Shannon was translating???

In Rouseau's recorded message, there was a mechanically-generated male voice which said, "Iteration number..." and then gave the number of times the message had been repeated.

Oh, and it was actually Bernard who answered Boone radio call from the drug-runners' airplane.

Right. It was Bernard who answered it, but Ana Lucia snatched it away from him and proclaimed it a trick by the Others to find them.

Thanks much for the help! Watching all of Season 2 for the first timaalong with the 2nd half of Season 3, missing the first half entirely, and with a not 100% spot-on recall of Season 1 I get confused.
