The "List" Was Cooper on it?

When we learned Patchy that there was a List that the Losties were not on, we were told it was because they were "flawed." Well I think that John Locke's father is big time "Flawed."

How did he get on the Island? How long have they had him? I thought I was a Lost "know it all" but I never saw this coming.

And I don't beleive you did either. If you say you did, please show me the thread.

Well, I can't prove it because I didn't post about it, but I did have a feeling it could be Cooper at the very end, because of what Ben said about if you want something bad enough, it comes out of the box.

Seemed to me he'd want the most to get even with "Dad".

In spite of this, I still yelled "WHAT!!!" at my t.v.

I think we will find out that Cooper was on flight 815. Either in the tail section and was kidnapped or in the first class section and was taken before Kate, Jack, and Charlie found the nose of the plane to get the radio way back in the pilot.
I think this is possible because last night's episode showed Cooper with a bottle of that expensive whiskey, same brand that Sawyer had in his stash, the one Charlie and Hurley got Desmond drunk with. Penny's dad said it was like $80,000 a bottle, besides Hurley who else on the plane would have the money for such an expensive bottle of whiskey. and so far Hurley has not connection to the whiskey.

I completly agree with you...

I know that coincidences don’t happen on Lost for no reason… But could the reason they showed the expensive Whiskey just be that they wanted to get the fact across that the that brand of Whiskey is super expensive… I mean they said that the family that Cooper was conning was worth 200 Million dollars…

That and I was thinking that Cooper had this Whiskey 4 years ago… He was on the run and hiding out after the accident.. They said that they lost track of him in Mexico… Do we really think it was the same bottle… There was some missing when he poured the drinks at the apartment, but the bottle that Charlie, Desmond & Hurley drank was full…

Ok here are my thoughts on Anthony Cooper and how he got to the island.. I do not think he is Smokey.. I also don’t think that he was on flight 815.. As far as the same whiskey, I posted my thoughts on the whiskey on a different thread I think…

I still think that Richard A brought Anthony Cooper to the island.. I think that he did this before the sky turned purple and after Michael released CBK/Henry Gale/ Ben Linus, whatever we are calling him now… That would account for how he got here when the communications are down now, and who brought him and when… It wasn’t till after CBK talked and started the mind games that he knew how he was going to manipulate John Locke.. I’m sure he knew a big file full about Locke, but until his leadership issues he didn’t know how to approach it…

excellent thoughts Wednighter! Wow! I'm with you that Alpert must have come before the sonar was knocked out. But if Alpert brought Athony Cooper, do you wonder if he brought other losties' significant others for manipulation purposes. It just happened that Locke was in the room as the threat so Ben said "bring me the man from tallahassee." If it had been Sayid, Kate, or Sawyer maybe CBK (benmer is back afterall) would have gotten someone else out of the box.
