Ben, you really think Juliette is awful. didn't you see her flashback. She has always been controlled by 'Great Men'. She really wanted her new 'great man'(Ben) killed by another 'great man'(jack). Ben killed her old 'great man'(Ed burke) and since then life has gotten worse. She loved her sister, she was a meak person, brainwashed by every man in her life. now she is entrusing a new man, Jack, to take her out of a current situation. It took a great deal of growth on her part to finally be helped by a truly great man.. our own Jack. Jack won't turn, he'll play along and eventually outsmart the others again, and maybe save juliet in the process.

juliette just wants to see her sister, and the niece/nepwhew that she created, not helped create... created.

Good thoughts cable. And yes she is aweful. I dont feel for her. nothing positive that is. She has been nothihg but a huge pain in jacks ass from day one. and whats more... If she had built a better name for herself... then maybe she would be more than just The blonde woman... Cuz thats all sawyer and kate know her as.. we also know she is involved in the Carl brainwashing... She has had so many chances to do the RIGHT thing on the island and she does the wrong one. I can give a big whooop dee doo about what she has done in the past to help people. Right now. On the Island. she isnt.. Taking people against their will, attemted assasinations and 236 lies per episode dont earn her squat for trust or sympathy.

Her role... the untrustworthy blond woman thats keeping jack from escaping... and undermines her fellow Others....

I don't know. The Others are bigger than we can even suspect. A company with the power of a North/Central Positronics has far reaching effects. Arms as wide as the earth, the sun never sets upon its workings.
With that said, anyone who was willingly manipulated(Juliette) or an unwilling participant(Flight 815) of the influence of the Others on the island and ulitmitely, destiny, has to have some breaks thrown their way. Juliette has been playing her cards for 3 years, shacking up with ben("they have history".... tom)to tryng to lead a coup against him(the 'flash'(back) cards, to try and finally get off an island she was promised to stay at most 6 months, well, all actions are probably justified. IMHO... very humble indeed

What I'm saying is, you don't have to feel awful for her, just understand that the dyamic of the 'Others' has changed through a complex perspective with the last 2 episodes. She is not the Other 'others' as we see them. she was taken, but sneakily behind her back, right in her face.

I AM holding my breathe for Proactive action on the parts of our Losties. i care about them. Locke, hurley, Sayid, Jin... most of the rest of them. No not paulo yet... And if i dont like paulo yet there is no way i am going to give a rats A for any Other... what if Carl and alex are also i on it and now carls going to go crazy on our island.. Point is, I dont care about juliete and her little squabbles with her empoyer... she got herself in too deep? jack shouldnt have to suffer for that.

i would bet most of us dont always like our bosses ALL of the time... so that dynamic will NEVER justify what she/they has done to jack.

But you forget, we don't yet know, if any, relationship Juliette has with our losties. Desmond met charlie, charlie had a message, there could be a web of people to help Jack that we haven't met yet, or have met and don't know their back stories. Like tom, the ore I see him, I think he has been taken there, and doing what he can. He may have been a prison warden, or guard, and that's why he was recruited, he knows how to keep people in line, securely.

Its possible... But as a writer myself and an avid indy filmer.... Too many cooks in the kitchen wil kill a plot. People will start loosing interest in LOST if we keep adding more characters and yadda yadda.. there becomes a point of saciation when you cant handle anymore.

so this is all good and well but if we dont get back to more hurley flashbacks or one of the characters we care about LIKE LOCKE AND HIS ACCIDENT... then there will be no viewers by the end of the series... well besides US.

As great a show as it is... The creators want ONE thing... NOT TO BE CANCELLED.. you get cancelled when you lose viewers/ratings... It wont be a big deal to them if WE never know the answers... IT WILL BE A BIG deal if they have to find new jobs...

Well, your wish has come true. If you read entertainment weekly, you'll see a series of stories and interviews that tell us that a lot of questions will be wrapped up soon, and start leading to the ultimate. they only have five seasons to get it in, by the producers standard, roughly 108 episodes. seems like Nicki and Paulo will have one show, then a smattereing of others, and that's it, the rest is explanation, relationship, and closing. We pray
