Good story or too much Homework?

Although I love the research and challenge of figuring out the story of LOST. I am beginning to wonder…”Am I too stupid to watch LOST?”

Scanning theories and reading about quantum physics, worm holes, and time space continuums can be entertaining – to a point. Half of the wild theories I can’t even begin to understand due to the in depth research, far-fetched ideas and connections to the show.

Although I have never been to college, I consider myself a well-educated person and smart and imaginative enough (I think) to throw a couple of good theories out there. I guess all I’m saying is I just hope that when the show ends and all the answers are revealed (if they ever are) I won’t be the only dumb ass that doesn’t get it!

Sorry for the rant- I think I spent too much time today trying to understand too many theories!!

I have often found myself wondering the same thing hon... Don't worry I think that both of us will understand and finally be thankful for some answers.. LOL

I'm too impatient to watch LOST, I want some Episodes son!

I understand how you feel. I cut way back on reading theories. Some where just wild, and a bit hard to follow. I found myself confused, flustered and suffering from headaches.

I have heard the writers have set a time line up for the run of the show, so they can make sure they wrap up the loose ends. I hope it's true. I think it would be okay to end the show leaving people happy with the answers, but wishing for a bit more. I don't want to see it get drug out for the sake of profit, if the story line suffers.

You know... theres lots out there that could easily suppliment some of these issues you bring up. I suggest renting the movie, "What the Bleep do we know?" Its a great movie that touches on lots of these ideas in a well explained fun way.

I have actually seen that movie at the video store and thought of renting it.. now I have an excuse!

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one frustrated with some of the techo-babbled theories that are out there

Theories are just that - theories, and as many people have stated even the writers of LOST themselves are probably not exceptionally bright or dare I risk saying imaginative enough to come close to the level of what we speculate about.

In all honesty when we get to the end I think we will find that the more "sci-fi" elements of the show were all in the mind, whether due to a virus creating hallucinations, the mind "making things happen", or something else simple like that.

I like to speculate, and wildly so at times, because I am a writer and an avid fan of science fiction. It keeps my mind sharp to express the things I know something about and to consider what might be. If I ever manage to write/create a show that gets made, you can bet you will be able to theorize wildly like this AND be proven right at some point. Promise.

I personally fully expect to be wrong on most or all of it by the end, but that's what speculation is, an expression of the possibilities based on our accumulated knowledge. I love coming up with these ideas with all the people around the web, and who cares if we're right or wrong? In the end the show will be what it will be.

I'm sure they will end it in a satisfying way!

Many of the theorys are too complex..tooo many trees to see the forest..think the hatch was a mgguffin????
