yes thats a both sided thing to think about.

I don't know, someone said it before, I think it was you ben, Boone dies in a 100 ft crash, but not in a 20,000 foot crash. I know he wasn't strapped in, but who survives any crash from that height, and not a smaller fall.

I think boone died more becuase of everythign INSIDE the plane, crushing him. He also was in the nose section i believe and that area crumpled did it not? if it crumpled anwhere near him then, sucks for boone...

Also. The fuselage of a big commercial airliner like that would be designed to stay as intact as possible and reduce casualties on impact.

(there are a number of shows on discovery channel and such where they talk about builind and testing those airliners so people can have a chance to survive a crash. from fuel disribution placement to reduce fire near passengers to water landings... anywho. its supposed to allow possibility for survival)

Unlike the drug running plane that Yemi was in... that thing was barely able to fly. It has no reinforcements in case of a crash landing. The effort to do so on planes like that far out weighs the value of the plane its self. Whereas hundreds of lives aboard a commercial flight NEEDS to have tons more technology for such an event....
