Nikki Fernandez

Nikki Fernandez was one of the middle section survivors from Flight 815 and is first introduced in "Further Instructions". She had spent most of her time on the island trying to recover the $8 million diamonds she and Paulo had stolen from Zukerman, her staged lover, before the crash. She received a Medusa spider bite that induced a deathlike paralysis and she died after being buried alive alongside Paulo.

peg4x4 - even though you found a good home for your dog, it's perfectly normal for you to still feel a sense of loss for awhile. Keep yourself busy (after my last cat passed away, I did a lot of major house cleaning to take my mind off things) and take comfort in the fact that he has a good home.

Not to go too OT, but it just kills me that people just dump their pets when they decide they can't take care or don't want them any more. The cat I have now is one that somebody just left behind when they moved.

Wow, our pets sure pull all the heart strings.

peg - Remember that wild dogs have naturally fluid pack affiliations. It is very common ofr a pack to seperate for long periods of time when prey in one area becomes scarce. It is also common for members to detach from one pack and affiliate with a new one when during such times of transition. I hope you find comfort in the fact that your dog will adjust to his new family in a matter of a few days. However, It is never as easy for us humans.

To other troubled pet owners:
Call a professional. I realize that most people hate admitting defeat. However, you would be amazed at what behavioral problems a professional animal behavioralist can assist you with.

You tell 'em Buddy! That's how I pay my bills. It's nothing to be embarassed about. We go to doctors because they have knowledge we don't. We go to a plumber if we are unsure how to fix a clogged pipe. A behavoralist just has info you may not.

Hey, Dogfather! You sound a great deal like my Hero, Cesar Millan.

That's right! I use a great deal of his technics. I'm working with a chicken killing Jack russle terrier that has responded very well to Cesar's style. It works very well.
