Michael Dawson

Michael Dawson is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He had parental issues with his son, Walt, but the two have bonded with their time on the island. Michael shot dead Ana-Lucia and Libby in order to release Ben from captivity; and ultimately caused the capture of Jack, Sawyer and Kate, when he made a deal with the Others. His whereabouts are currently unknown after he left the Island with his son Walt on a motor boat.

I chose "other" because all of the above listed seem to be intertwined.

I’m not a sociologist, but let me just throw this out there for discussion. One may say that, on this planet, humans at the very core are essentially animals, intelligent, rational-thinking animals, but animals none-the-less.

Lets say for example, the US and other countries behave much like packs of wolves, family units with organized social structures. Larger more powerful packs may be inclined to broaden their territory. Or if their territory is invaded, a pack would be inclined to defend it. Could the constant cycle of wars dotted throughout our history just be humans fighting for territory? Is it a question of survival of the fittest?

Ah, but we are smarter than the average animal, aren’t we?

Well as long as we try are dardndest to rationalize our squabble then its ok!

We just come up with ploys like "Saddam was Saddemizing the people" or weapon of MASS destruction (but Chuck Norris lives in Oklahoma), or "this is a holy war!".

No matter what the excuse is, it is still stupid!

Default For those of you who feel we are too P.C.

My honey brings home A.P. news stories for me and I though you might want to hear this one.
Hingam Mass - A discount retailer in Massachusetts is apoiogizing for advertising "Wife beater" T-shirts in a store flier.
The ad for Building 19 outragd woman's groups and led to a quick apology from the retail chain's co-founder Jerry Ellis. Ellis acknowledges the circular was "insensitive" He tells the Metrowest Daily news of Framingham he " was either too dumb or lazy or distracted" when he let the copy "go by."
I don't know but, it sounds a bit silly to me. You may be right about this.

Kipling wrote prose too.

Jungle Book - "I don't know if the size of the gun matters. I would say it's up to the owner."

That Kipling?
