I've never heard of wild chickens and never seen one. As a matter of fact I raise chickens and I'm not sure they could survive on their own, They're just about the dumbest animal on the planet. Any of you fellow chicken farmers would agree to that Im sure.

In Kenya, easter asia, India. There is more to chickens then the domesticated ones that you keep in a pen all day. There is more to earth than the things that me or you see, you learn something new everyday.

As to the wild chickens-Red Jungle Fowl is/ar the basis for most all domestic chickens..However,that was a hen that looked like a Game(fighting) chicken..as to dumb...mine are ferals..when we had Mcarther(Pyrneese mix,'nother story) on a chain,and something got after the chickens,they would run to the dog,so he'd keep them safe..
