Apologies from Toad

I would like to apologise to all of my fellow LOST fan friends for offending some of you. I realis now that I have offended a few of you on my remarks about the Catholic faith, I have even offended someone who I consider a long time Forum friend.

From hear on out I will not be talking about religion, or polotics for that matter(on this forum that is

). Whenever I do, I never fail to piss someone off.

Though I have not changed my opinion on any of those matters, I respect that you have your values, and that if I want to sound off about these things, I should do it on my own site.

Also, some believe that I attacked Catholocism, I would not say attacked the religion itself, I would say that I attacked the religious leaders of that sect. I think that the religion had a good idea, I will stop theire.

I'm really sad you feel that way, Toad. Isn't that what forums are for, to share your opinion? Obviously there are people here who don't agree with everything I say, but I keep posting anyway. And I don't agree with everything you say, but I'm not complaining.

I hope you'll still feel free to share your opinions, no matter what they are. Here's a little psycho-babble advice: When you make a statement, use words like "I think" or "I believe" or "in my opinion." After all, we're all entitled to believe what we want, and if people don't like your posts they don't have to read them.

I admit I was using fact instead of I think. Because it was FACT. I was just taken aback when I offended someone who I have talked to on this forum and others (no not Lokenlode, we offend each other on a daily basis, lol).

That is what forums are for, though this is not a place for my phscho-babble on religion and polotics (same thing really, OOPS). I would like to talk about LOST, not offend people (though sometimes they coincide, lol).

From the words of me when I was kicked off another LOST forum "Talking about LOST is fun, this is in no way fun"....me speaking to the jackarse who banned me in to shame.

ok, ok...I will rescind my fatwa...(or was it a jihad?)

A Fatwa= Something that is officialy questioned by the church of Islam. Usually decided by a Judge or Judges.

Jihad= A holy war declared my Islamics. Americans have a Jihad placed on theire head, aswell as the Brits.

Sometimes I like to tell people that I will put on a Jihad on them, LOL, but only to people who are oblivious to what it means.

You shouldn't feel like you can't express your opinions, I hope I wasn't one of those folks who lead you to this. I do agree that this is a LOST forum, so we should talk about LOST, but sometimes we do stray, right?

And also - when you said it was FACT, what were you referencing? (And politics and religion aren't the same thing, but both have become corrupted at different times...anyway!) Back to talking about LOST.

Bringing up religion or politics can be a dangerous thing. I saw all the comments and thought it was getting "a bit heated" near the end. The thing that Impressed me was that dispite your strong veiws and comments, you where in the end respectful of eachother. Bravo!

Religion has become very political, turn on your T.V. open your newspaper. There is a Political Cartoonist with a Jihad on his head! A holy war! Why does he have a Jihad on his head, because he drew a political cartoon! The left wing (majority) believes that all Right-wingers are Christians.

Religion is Polotics, though spirituality is quite simply spirituality.

I actually think you shouldn’t feel like that too.

Get your opinion out. If someone is offended, they don’t have to keep reading. You have a right to your opinion and speaking it is a positive thing that comes from the Internet. There can always be Internet fighting (which I don’t see here), but it's not like in person when you feel like you cant say what you feel.

I love it when people speak their minds whether it's offensive or not.

I try to say what I feel any time I get the chance, and I am sorry you feel like you need to apologize.

And just because you mentioned it, I want you to know religion and politics is my FAVOURITE thing to talk about with people. I love to hear other peoples view on religion especially and I love speaking about mine.
