Wow. Long time no post. I missed you guys and, thought I would touch base. I have been pretty caught up in expanding my business. I'm getting good at grooming dogs. Now they look as good as they behave.
It gets a bit crazy during the summer. LOTS of grooming. That means lots of money but, very little free time. I caught up on all my bills and did a bit of shopping. That's the good stuff.
The bad stuff...I lost one of my dogs to old age. Lucky, the name sake of my business "Lucky Dog" Had a stroke. We had to take him to the vet, where he went to sleep for the last time in my arms. He was 15 1/2 years old.
I didn't have much time to grieve. less than a week later, I was driving home, took a turn and, had to slam on my breaks to avoid hitting a 8 week old pit bull puppy. He is now my constant companion. He (Mr. Pickle) comes to work with me every day. He has healed my broken heart. He takes up most of my time, as he gets tons of training and socialization. He is the ambasssdor of his breed. He's sweet, gental, loving and trustworthy. He proves, it's the owner not the breed.
It's good to be back. hope to spend alot more time with you guys. Have a great one.
