Johnathan "John" Locke
Johnathan "John" Locke is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. His paralysis was immediately healed upon crashing on the Island, which has ultimately led him to believe he has some sort of special connection to the Island. He is sometimes shown in antithesis to Benjamin Linus, sharing several traits including the ability to commune with Jacob. Seen as antithetical to Jack Shephard, he and Jack are philosophical opposites and used to share leadership among the survivors, but now seems to be creating his own agenda for his actions on the Island and has broken off from the survivors.

Other Season Finales
So, recently watched a few of my other shows rap up their season finales and I have to say I've been blown away by how good television is now a days. The depth and character just can't be compared.
Did anyone catch the Supernatural - House - How I Met Your Mother - Bones season finales?
House and How I Met Your Mother - Blew my mind. I don't think i've been emotionally wrenched as I was watching the last episode of House. They stepped that character up into a new level. Really. 4 seasons finished and if you never liked the show or have never seen it - all 4 seasons are now more then worth watching just to catch the last two episodes in the fourth season. If you haven't seen the show or thought it was just another medical comedrama - the two part season finale took the Some out of Awesome and made it AweMoreThenYouCanHandle. I know that doesn't make sense, or it does and it's just cheesy but after the season ended i sat and stared at my screen to let it soak in and then every emotion just burst from me. You know me, i won't reinterate my "I'm a man" topic, but needless to say I needed a box of tissues and a nice box of cheap wine. (Is it asinine to call any boxed wine "Nice"?).
The season finale for How I Met Your Mother was probably the funniest episode all season and at the same time the most heartfelt. It is of my opinion and my tastes in comedy that How I Met Your Mother is the funniest show on the tv. It's smart, intelligent, and witty as hell. The characters are well played by the actors and the timing for delivery of either jokes or comedic setup is flawless. If you've never given this show a chance - pick up the first two seasons on dvd, you won't be let down. The third season is sure to follow on dvd, the writer's strike kind of pushed back the dvd releases of a lot of good shows, but it'll be worth it. Or just download the torrents - or don't since it's illegal, a friend told me that's what he does, I am actually a strict follower of the law......
Supernatural and Bones were mediocre season finales. Bones left a lot to be worked on. If you've watched the show then you know about the Gormegon killer - good plot i thought but they didn't do much coverage of a main plot point of season 3 and then in the season finale the just end it weirdly with a twist ending that to me just didn't sit well. It wasn't bad enough for me to stop watching the show, but let's just leave it at the point that it dind't sit well.
Supernatural was an okay season finale. No twist ending, Dean ends up going to hell - Lillith gets away and something happens to Rubie that I can'd divuldge. No clue where Bobby was for the last part of the show - but pretty much, Sam is on his own now. I'm pretty sure Dean will get out of hell next season, pretty early in fact, because Supernatural isn't Sam hunting demons, the show would crumble on Sam's shoulders. You need the Winchester brothers to make the show what it is, and that's awesome.
Another show that ended awhile back - Dexter - had an awesome season finale and I can't wait until they start the third season. That show is so dark and the humor is so clever. The writer of the books such as Dexter Darkly Dreaming and the others which the show is based off of is a genius. He created what is really a unique character.
Lost is soon to end, we're promised one big in your face BANG of an episode and I've sure it will be awesome, only time will tell.
Battlestar Galactica is still pretty early in it's last season, but it's already proving to kick a lot of ass and I can't wait to see how they close that chapter in tv history.
