Nikki Fernandez
Nikki Fernandez was one of the middle section survivors from Flight 815 and is first introduced in "Further Instructions". She had spent most of her time on the island trying to recover the $8 million diamonds she and Paulo had stolen from Zukerman, her staged lover, before the crash. She received a Medusa spider bite that induced a deathlike paralysis and she died after being buried alive alongside Paulo.

OMG, dude, that is a freaky nightmare, and about your fav show too, yikes. The writers do a pretty good job of keeping the show intense and scary with a lot of implied heebie-jeebieness, so I'm not surprised that it will cause nightmares.
Unrelated, but the other night I had a nightmare that I watched my brother fall into a chasm between to rocks, like he was trying to jump from one side to the other, mis-judged the distance, and I watched him plummet. It was very extremely disturbing, and I tried to forget about it.
Question: before you had the Lost nightmare did you eat a lot of fast-food or pizza? That seems to trigger nightmares for me.

actually darnzy I was referring back to pchee's nightmare w/ the meat grinder. Yikes. You're nightmare sounds really freaky too, and right out of "The Constant"
Aside from the comments about Des' acting on "The Constant" in the "this episode blew" thread, I thought he did a really good job. This experience would have to drive you to the limits of your sanity, and I think he showed that pretty well. Thats kind of cool that you got to experience what that would be like Darnzy, though I'm sure it was no fun.

Yeah I didn't agree with RED GLORY either. Your nightmare sounds deeply symbolic, you should read some dream interpretation on that! Oh one more thing pepperoni pizza doesn't nessicarily (sp?) give me bad dreams, just vivid ones.

I had a horrible LOST related nightmare last night. Actually it woke me up at 5 a.m. and i couldn't go back to sleep.
It started out, it was like i was watching the cast do a rehersal of lines. They were all in a room reading off what sounded like lines from a episode, all holding scripts. The room was well lit and they were on a wooden stage.
Then all of a sudden i'm in another room, that i understand to be the basement. it's not the basement like where ben was locked up but something more like in a house. There's TV screens like in the dharma stations on the island and i'm watching HORRIBLE things. one was of a guy talking to the camera and at the same time running his own body through a sausage grinder type thing, he wasn't even screaming or anything, just his body was getting all mushed up and he was talking, like...crazy LOST talk, nothing made sense. The grinder made it all the way up to his face and he was still talking! I was horrified!!!
Then i look to another screen and i see another guy's face. when he opens his eyes, they're not eyes, they're like little mini mouths...with teeth and tongues! it was so gross!!!
then i look away from these tv screens and there's a dog in the room with me. i don't want him to bite me so i give him a treat. then i woke up.
what does everyone think? am i going crazy?
|
Well I don't think you are going crazy, but you should probably stay away from the message boards for a while , just to be safe. .
If Wes Craven guest-directed an episode of lost it would probably be a lot like your nightmare.

Hahahha, I had a dream last night where mom and Richard were sleeping peacefully in a single bed that my dream-self thought "it's mine" (the bed, the bed.. well the mother and Richard too, LOL) Then some sailing occured, but where and with whom, was I part of it- I can't quite remember..
I don't know if this counts as a nightmare or not.

The guy with mini mouths in his eye sockets? Sounds like you might enjoy reading E.T.A Hoffman's Sandman story.. Well, maybe not.
Hope you have a better sleep tonight.
|
Yeah, that's right, the "Corintios" had mouths instead of eyes. And Sandman would appear in dreams, though he wasn't evil...

Among many versions of Sandman, Hoffman's lit version I'm referring to has the man evil. So not quite like Neil Gaiman's (though Gaiman's Corintios would probably be one of those inter-textual references he loves to make to world lit)

Ha! I thought it was all done by Gaiman, thanks for the info.
