I need to learn to keep my mouth shut. I was out with a good friend for coffee and a chat. She brought up a children's theater group she was working with. they are going to come into town with props, make-up, costumes, scripts and music to put on a kid friendly version of Robinson Crusoe. I opened my mouth, (before my mind could catch up to say wait you have alot on your plate.) and I said, "Well I have a few years of theater, with and without kids under my belt, maybe I can help." Come to find out she is the head person in charge of pulling this off. Now I'm her right hand girl. My first job, Fund raising. I have a few fund raising ideas like, a silent auction for local vendor's donated idems, a door prize drawing and a bake sale. I really want this to go well, so it can happen again next year. I'm willing to put in the time and effort, if I think it will work. I geuss I would like to ask for any ideas you may have for raising funds for the show. Our first meeting is this wednesday. I should be home in time for Lost. I hope. THANKS!
