It's all over, thank goodness

Hope everyone has had a happy time this month, whatever holiday you're celebrating. No matter how organized I try to be, by Christmas night, the house is a mess and I'm too tired to care. This year I was also the lucky one in our family to get a cold.

But the dinners and presents are over now and I'm getting ready to take a big swig of Nyquil and get under the covers with a good book. Or maybe lay on the couch and watch a movie (I got 'The Devil Wears Prada from my nephew). Nah, I'd probably fall asleep within the first half hour.

Back to work tomorrow - yuck. But our company gives us Friday and Monday off for New Years, so I can deal with it for a couple of days.

Christmas was good here. Food, Family,I don't think I've ever received so much Lost stuff. The Lost calendar, Jack doll from Toys R Us, the board game(very complicated by the way), and the season 2 poster. I did not even ask for all this stuff. Well, maybe the Jack doll, but I still want Des.

I have to say it was a good Christmas. I was not sure it would be when I saw the Christmas stuff come out in the stores at Halloween. I get so tied of the comercial side of this time of year. As a kid we where really poor and the holidays where about family and friends getting together not, What to buy everyone. I never got allot of gifts but, I loved spending time with my loved ones. This year I'm in another state and I missed them so much. Then the phone calls came and, a new friend had a get together. It was really nice. I hope all of you out there are well and have had a great year. Here's to a wonderful 2007!
