James Ford

James Ford, better known by the alias of "Sawyer", is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's early life was ravaged by the con man who ultimately claimed both his parent's lives through conning them, instantly orphaning him. As a child, he wrote a letter to this con man, hoping to deliver it to him in person one day. Sawyer set out to search for him, presumably after he left school, however he, himself, ultimately became a con man and became the man he was hunting, became Sawyer. Revenge plays a big part in Sawyer's life, starting with the real Sawyer. On the island, Sawyer has often used his abilities to con people to get his wishes, and keeps a stash of useful items with him. However, after the death of the real Sawyer, he has begun to rethink his ways and is slowly turning into a leader for the survivors.

He escaped from the captivity of the Others with Kate, and has formed a relationship with her.

I know this has nothing to do with Lost, but I have wanted to go to Italy for along time, and if I could go and take my time visiting places I would go to: Rome...of course. Venice, Sicily,Tuscany,Florence,Naples and Milan. You are lucky. Have a good trip. (:

I just saw a program about Florance. That place looks so cool. Lots of things to do there, especially if you're into art.

I've been to Amsterdam 5 times in the last six years. We like it because it's so English friendly and easy to get around. I took a couple of day trips to Germany and Belgium, but if I were going for any longer I would probably go with a tour group, at least the first time. I'm a little leary about staying somewhere for any length of time where I can't understand the language.

One word of advice: do a lot of research on the internet/books and figure out where you want to go. Have at least some idea of what you want to do when you get to a city (it doesn't have to be a strict schedule or anything). Most web sites for attractions will include what buses/trains you need to take to get there and other directions. Also check what time places are open. You don't want to spend precious vacation hours wandering around looking for a place, only to discover once you get there that it has already closed for the day.

It sounds great. Always wanted to go, there are so many beautiful thing to see I would be worried about leaving and not seeing everything I wanted to see. I don't know if it would be better to go with a guide or do your own thing and go by map especially in Rome.
