Hugo "Hurley" Reyes

Hugo "Hurley" Reyes is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Hurley's father disappeared when he was at a young age for almost 17 years. Afterwards, Hurley suffered an eating-disorder and after a traumatic accident he was sent to a mental asylum when he started seeing an imaginary person. Ever since, he has changed and has been extremely concious of his sanity and how people view him. When Hurley won the lottery, he was not overjoyed, instead he was fearful that his life was going to change. Hurley is typically happy-go-lucky and keeps the spirits of his fellow survivors up. He has an eating disorder but has managed to overcome that with the help of Libby, and has even stuck to it after her death. He is also the voice of reason in the group, and uses his common sense to solve difficult situations. Ever since winning the lottery with the mysterious numbers, he has searched for an answer for the curse of bad luck that supposedly plagues him.

Default Where do you get your news?
Kind of a tangent discussion that was introduced on another thread so I thought I would start this one, just cos I'm interested.

Where do you go on the internet to get your news?

I try to be a well-rounded person and get my news from different sources. I usually start out at CNN just because I get the feeling they update their pages more often. I look at the headlines and then go out to other sites to see if the stories are similar. Here's the places I routinely visit and I'm looking for some more, especially from outside the US. I'm kind of limited since I only know English (12 years of French in school and never got an opportunity to use it )

CBS, ABC, Fox News, CNN, BBC, WLS 890 A.M. Also I've been known to double task while on the computer by typing and watching C-Span at the same time. I like watching the U.S. Senate and the House of Lords, those guys are a hoot.

When I'm not watching, I'm listening to a radio. I'm surrounded by news.

I don't normally get my news off the internet. Mostly I get it from my husband. He's the morning guy on the local radio station, so he brings home news off the A.P. wire. If I watch news on T.V. it's C.N.N. or local.

Generally I look up newspapers on the internet.. Then from Yahoo news.. I don't have cable so I don't generally watch CNN or anything...
