Default Wikipedia vs the world

An article from cNet on different tools to search the web.

Quote:
Nearly the entire sum of the world's written knowledge is now stored online. But what's the best way to get at all the facts, the text, the maps, and other Web resources? You need something more than a search engine--you need reference tools. We gathered up 10 services (9 Web sites, 1 DVD-ROM) and compared them on comprehensiveness, usability, and accuracy. These tools can keep you on track, whether you're working on a middle-school science fair project, wrapping up a graduate degree, or pursuing a hobby.

Meh, Wikipedia is wrong alot. But it is an everchanging evergrowing tree of information. That even from a year ago, has probaly doubled. Its quite a remarkable system.

Yes, these editable databases are awesome, but as said above they are prone to inconsistencies and errors.

Has anyone ever checked out the Lostpedia?

Frank Drebin remembers a lost love.

Frank: It's the same old story. Boy finds girl, boy loses girl, girl finds boy, boy forgets girl, boy remembers girl, girls dies in a tragic blimp accident over the Orange Bowl on New Year's Day.

Jane: Goodyear?

Frank: No, the worst.
