Book Thread

I guess it's time for a book thread.

Okay, well I am pretty much a Dean Koontz fan and a Stephen King fan. I mostly admired "Life Expectancy" of Dean Koontz which was really good (I recommend it to just about anyone).
I am also a fan of "The Green Mile" which, I think, Stephen King's greatest achievement.

But there are far more that I like, but just not enough time to do so.

I've read a lot of Koontz books and a couple of Thomas Harris' too. My favourite recently is an Andy Kaufman biography by Bill Zehme, top read.

Clownshoes... seems like some very Sci-Fi read... Isn't Steinbeck the one who wrote Of Mice and Men.

Yes he was. And I've read most of the books mentioned. I read just as much as I watch tv, because I sit in a truck doing nothing.

I'm also a huge Dean Koontz fan.... Can't wait for the next Frankenstein book to come out, and I can't wait for the sequel to Odd Thomas. I'm actually reading Life Expectancy right now, the way he writes it is beautifully funny and witty. The first couple pages had me rolling. Tick Tock was one of my favorite Dean Koontz novels. I like Douglas Adams, read both his series. Love Michael Chrichton, Like Stephen King. Love Steinbeck. Read Everything by Harris but Black Tuesday, but I'm pretty sure I've seen like 200 movies with the same premise. Harry Potter is awesome also. There's too much out there for me to mention, so I'll quit.

Forgot Douglas Adams, I still haven't read his fun detective books.

I'm in love with everything Ken Follett has written. A few of his were made into movies back in the day, like Eye of the Needle with that Sutherland fella.

Pide and Pejudice by Jane Austen is my fav book.

I like too many others and even bother posting them. I am a huge book addict.

Yes! Another Follet fan! I've read quite a few of them and I've seen Eye of the Needle (starring Donald Sutherland). What else was made into a movie?

I also enjoy classics and some New York Times Best Seller list stuff. Oh, and I'm a Harry Potter freak.

Err...I'm not sure, I thought another one was as well? I could be wrong. I can't even name all my favorites of his, but I loved Pillars of the Earth, so different from his other work, Jackdaws, a Flight over Water...

And you're also a HP freak too :P I wonder if there's a coincidence! I don't suppose you hang around HP forums!
