James Ford
James Ford, better known by the alias of "Sawyer", is one of the middle section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. Sawyer's early life was ravaged by the con man who ultimately claimed both his parent's lives through conning them, instantly orphaning him. As a child, he wrote a letter to this con man, hoping to deliver it to him in person one day. Sawyer set out to search for him, presumably after he left school, however he, himself, ultimately became a con man and became the man he was hunting, became Sawyer. Revenge plays a big part in Sawyer's life, starting with the real Sawyer. On the island, Sawyer has often used his abilities to con people to get his wishes, and keeps a stash of useful items with him. However, after the death of the real Sawyer, he has begun to rethink his ways and is slowly turning into a leader for the survivors.
He escaped from the captivity of the Others with Kate, and has formed a relationship with her.

Same here.

The banner ads don't bother me.
Another option is to set up a donation box, but then you're at the mercy of those who are, and are not, willing, to help foot the bill on a monthly/quarterly basis. Rarely do I see this option working well for the visitors, and tends to create more stress than it solves.
The postcount option isn't a great idea, as then you'll have people who bump themselves, simply to get to ad-free status.

Like I said, banner ads are no bother for me.

Im not a bad guy, so lets talk about this.. i have two options to choose from:
1. Making a regurlars group, that can browse this forum ad-free.
2. Ad-Free based on postcount (from 100 or so)
I have a problem with nr 1 (although it seems like the best solution) its aLOT work. and it WILL keep someone busy the whole time (and im afraid its gonna be me)
What do you think

I have no problem with banners to cover your expenses. However, I dislike the placement of the banners through a thread - I prefer them at the top and bottom of a thread, not weaved throughout a thread.
The reason is when you scroll through a thread, you think you've hit the bottom when you see a banner. In this case I'm unsure, and I'm forever checking the side scroll bar to see whether I've hit the bottom or not. Also, the amount of text on one page is reduce due to the banners in the middle of the pages.
