Lost Movie

If any ones has to make a story for a lost movie what would it be?

There should be an episode where its kind of a catch up, but simple and later on in the series. Its an episode on the beach, something that will bring the ratings up so people can watch it without not understanding it lol. Just a thought.

I really can't comment until the series ends, after all a movie in between the seasons could only be so in-depth. A movie after the series could work, assuming anyone survives by the end...and that there is an Island to return to at the end. The jury is out, we can speculate in 3 years.

An elite special forces team lands in the jungle and begins being systematically kiilled of by something that's been there for a very long time. When the Major in charge of the unit is the only one left, he covers himself with mud and...oh wait...

It could be like the reverse of Stargate though! Once the secret is out, the movie could be about other unrelated characters and organizations use of it.

I think given the overarching theory Cable is running with, by the end of the series it is entirely possible that time will be rewritten and the Island may never have existed. The Producers have said the end of the show would eradicate any chance of a movie, that's one way I could see it being true.

A journalist unearths some old articles on flight 815 and the mysterious events surrounding it and charters a boat and crew with some colleagues to track down the story. They end up on the island eventually and strange things start happening. Some of the survivors of the crash appear occasionally telling the crew to leave or be caught up in the islands strange energy forever. Intrigued, the crew continue to search the island, uncovering clues. Someone goes island nuts (a' la Locke) and begins to monkey-wrench the crews attempts to leave the island. There is a large explosion at some point and the crew and journalist find themselves back in 1982 or something and become imprisoned by Dharma initiative and interrogated. The rest of the movie is how they can ever piece together what actually happened to flight 815 and how they can return to their own time.
