On the first Locke flashback episode, he gets hit by a car and his kidney stolen. The car acident could have caused hidden damage. Just a thought

Are you saying like years later? Last night's episode took place quite a while after the accident, several weeks anyway since Helen and Locke have now been together long enough to have gotten a place together.
Locke was still walking with no problems.

My Dad got a knee injury snowboarding a month ago and it didn't effect his movement 'til just a week ago.

Somthing about Locke that I must be missing is in the episode Locke is working for the box company, he is always siting down until the end when they say he can't go on the WalkAbout in Austrailia. He is talking to Helen on the phone and she says she can't see customers. That's while he is paralyzed. Did the first Locke episode come before this one two days ago?

No, i think its later, check the amount of hair he has.

The episode about the Walkabout aired much sooner - 1st season-
but it takes place much later than the episode that aired last week.
Last weeks episode took place at least 4 years before Island time.
(He told the guy who wouldn't let him go on the walkabout he had
been dealing with his condition for four years)

I know injuries can be unobvious at first - that's why the police and emergency personnel ask accident victims to go the hospital even if
they feel fine at the moment. I'm just not sure it's the case this time.
I am sure that he went through some rigorous medical testing before
being allowed to donate a kidney. I don't think that bump from the
car would be enough to paralyze him.
But I am sure they will let us know when the time is ripe - and it
will be a real shocker. Like he was saving Shannon from a burning
building or Hurley came to visit the box factory and fell on him.
