Of course I still like him, mabey he's not so nice, but he's not trying to be the boss (I have issues with bosses) (thats why I work for myself) and he's good to look at....

I think the writers haven't really decided what to do with Sawyer.
There is no continuity. He charges into the camp, gun blazing, saying
"OK, there's a new sheriff in town." But he gives Kate one whenever she
wants and she gives it back (I guess - where is the one she used during
maternity leave.) He pleads with Hurley to help find a frog, leaving the gun in his tent. He lets Charlie take a gun on his hike. He sits around the camp reading and still lets Jack and Locke make all the decisions.
And he let Sun have the pregnancy test just so he could be nosey.
He's down on the beach congratulating Jin and joking around with
Bernard. What is up? I do not like the writing of his character lately.
It's too confusing. Is he big and bad and in charge or what?

Yes it seems that Locke and Jack are in charge of the hatch and Jungle, while Sawyer dictates the beach. The negative vibes Sawyer was sending off the screen a few episodes back caused many equally negative reactions by fans. They are trying to bring the fun Sawyer back again, yet still trying to show that he is in charge.

That could be it - trying to bring back the old Sawyer. I guess it really
doesn't matter that he has the medicine and guns, since he doesn't seem
to mind dispensing them to everyone - as long as he gets to insult you first.
But I'm petty, I'll never like him again. Just because, he finally won the camp's sympathy, then they learned it was all an act. The camp can never be sure when he is going to "snap" again.

I was torn between 'he needs a good smackin' and 'who cares, he's cute', but after watching the poker game last night and the fact that I'm a sucker for dimples, I had to go with the latter.

The only thing that Sawyer has done that really makes me hate him was the frog thing. And as bad as he's portrayed to be, that was really out of character IMHO.
