I think Charlie is eventually going to have to face the fact that the camp knows about his actions towards Sun. When this happens either Jin is going to beat him to death or another scenerio is Charlie trys to kill Locke and fails because Claire kills Charlie....

I figure he'll go back to camp begging forgiveness in a few days. I'm sure he only meant to drag Sun and she was more powerful than he thought.
If he has a lick of sense, he'll tell Sun in private what happened. I think she
will be very hurt and disappointed, but forgiving. Then when the whole camp does find out she can already say she forgave him and calm everybody down.
Either that, or they'll just go ahead and drown him.

I think Sun will do a double backflip, charge in to Charlies blonde head and smack him so hard his evil hood will be ripped off his sweatshirt!

And then Jin can take him out to the water and beat him up like he did to the asian man who did not pay off Jins father-in-law!

No actually I think that Sun will be angry but forgive him eventually.

Charlie's character is starting to suck. I still cant believe he would hurt her.

Charlie was hurt, upset, and not thinking clearly. Not to mention recovering from his addiction. In his irrational mind, he probably thought Claire would come running back. I think to get her back, making a deal with the devil (Sawyer) seemed like his only choice. Do I think it will come back to haunt him? Absolutely! But, I can see why he took the actions that he did.
