Is Sawyer Invincible?

At this point, we can officially put James "Sawyer" Ford in the "Near Immortal" Hall of Fame, right up there with Chuck Norris, Jack Bauer, and 50 Cent (who, for you older board roamers, has been shot approximately 18 billion times).

First, he survived a plane crash. So did everyone on the show though, so I guess that's no big deal. The plane crash, however, was just the tip of the iceberg for Mr. Ford.

A couple weeks into being stranded on the island, he was beaten and TORTURED with bamboo shutes by his fellow survivors for something he didn't even have! Oh, and if that wasn't enough, he then had a knife EMBEDDED IN HIS ARM!

After his recovery from the arm stabbing, he took it easy for a while, and although he was attacked by a wild boar, he did manage to secure himself a spot on Michael's raft that was to leave soon. Of course, that was a bad idea, as that led to him being SHOT, left to drown, and CHASED BY A SHARK!

Sawyer was unfazed though, and made it to land after PULLING THE BULLET OUT WITH HIS BARE HANDS and bleeding all night! Oh, yeah, the bleeding continued and the wound was pretty much untreated for 4 DAYS. In the meantime, he was CLUBBED IN THE FACE, thrown into a pit, and then forced to walk across an island.

Not done with his brushes with death of course, Sawyer volunteered to wander into the jungle to help find Michael, still not completely recovered from his bullet wound and loss of like 36 gallons of blood. The search led to a confrontation with "Zeke," which of course led to him being shot at AGAIN.

Sure, the second time he was shot at he was only grazed, but does it really matter? He could have taken a bullet between the eyes and laughed it off. Sawyer is invincible, indestructable, and completely unflappable. He deserves to be honored, and if the President had any balls, he'd get him off that island and recognize him at the White House.

The man is a masochist, I think.

Yeah, but Sawyer has the longest list by far. By FFFFFFFAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRrrR.
