Is Claire dead?

One thing that came up to my mind when i saw this finally is the fact that you can see people like the Hurley playing chess ecko, talking to charlie. Jack talking to is dad, etc. So Locke saw Claire in Jacobs cabin and when Kate saw her in her dreams. Would that mean she i dead? if you think about it, she was in the house that exploded when locke's camp got attacked, and she only had a few scars when sawyer got her..

Who know's. If i'm honest, I dont think that she's dead but she obvsiously has some strong connection to the island. One thing I have been thinking about, Claire told Kate not to bring Aaron back to the island, but in the episode "raised by another" the psychic guy, Richard Malkin told Claire not to give the baby up for adoption, that danger surrounds the baby and that she must raise the baby herself. Now she wants Aaron to stay off the island. Has this now changed then? Lots of Questions.

I was also thinking about this, and I think that Claire might be dead.
I think this mainly because she was in Jacob's cabin.
Also if I remember correctly before she took off by herself into the jungle, Miles was reacting to her strangely, and we know he has some ghostbuster powers or something.

If she is dead, it could be simuliar to Christian and could explain why Christians body wasn't in his coffin. IDK it is kinda weird.

Is there anyone besides Walt? To me that could mean she is dead.

That makes me wonder why Sawyer could see and talk to her, as well as Hurley, Ben, and Locke.. She was fine when they made camp even said she was feeling better.. maybe she had internal injuries that finally took her life after they went to sleep?? I really don't know..

yeah the whole thing with Claire wandering off by herself into the jungle and then later hanging out with Christian in Jacob's cabin is just weird and I think different from any thing else we have seen on the show.

Even her appearance to Kate in Aaron's bedroom was different.
Kate was dreaming right?
It is not like when
Walt appears to Shannon in the jungle
or
Christian and Libby appearing to Michael at different times on the freighter.
or even
the several times that Eko saw Yemi

If she is dead then I think this is the first time that several characters have seen a dead character all at once.
I am talking about her being with Locke, Hurley, Sawyer, and the rest from the time she was in the blown up otherville house until she wandered off in the jungle.

anyways.... the whole Claire thing since the attack on otherville is just weird.

There are a couple of things that make me think Claire is dead, but there are also some thing that are just so different from how we have seen other known dead characters interact with live characters. so... yeah weird

So she is dead. many people saw her

I think she might have died when she went into the jungle at night, but was alive when she was walking with the group- she looked really strange when she appeared at Kate's house- like she was bloated and really washed out, so yes I think she is dead now

I completely agree with you!

Remember that Desmond told Charlie that he saw Claire being rescued (getting on a helicopter or something like that) in one of his visions... that's the main reason why Charlie sacrificed himself... now, the question is: if Claire is dead, how could she be rescued? The other possibility is that Desmond's vision was not accurate....

Reading your post made me think about what Desmond said in Catch 22:

Maybe after telling Charlie what he saw changed the picture or it has not happened yet since as Desmond said they don't happen in order..

The other option is that Desmond lied to get Charlie to save everyone, using his flashes as the reason.. That could be why he ended up following Charlie down to the Looking Glass since he felt guilty for lying to Charlie about seeing Claire getting on a helicopter?
