Boone Carlyle

Boone Carlyle was a middle section survivor of Oceanic Flight 815 and was Shannon's stepbrother. He attempted to assume a semi-leadership role with the survivors but failed due to being rash and young, though he became Locke's apprentice when the two formed a close bond. Boone survived on the Island for 41 days before he died of injuries sustained in a fall whilst he tried to contact 'rescuers' from the drug smugglers' plane. According to Locke, Boone was a sacrifice the Island demanded.

Harold Perrineau released a song on ITunes today, called Stay Strong. It is a song for the troops overseas, and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to helping those men and women who return with injury.

Daniel Dae Kim is directing the video for the song, and a few of our Lost favorites have cameos in the video.

What a great job! I really like that video. Perrineau must be a nice guy. Recently Denzel Washington bought a house on a US military base for families of injured soldiers to live in during the recuperation. Other than Washington and Perrineau I don't know of other celebrities who have done so much. They're all out supporting ending global warming or ending the genocide in Darfur--both of which are important causes, I know... Maybe Perrineau's father was in the military?

It was really cool to see Sawyer in the video too and the actress who was in Oz w/ Perrineau and now stars in Dexter. My brother's first girlfriend used to be obsessed with watching the last minute of Saturday Night Live because she wanted to see which castmembers and musicians the guest host would hug and which he/she wouldn't, I guess as a window into their real personality. She kind of got me into it and now I can't watch SNL without seeing that last minute on screen. So Michael and Sawyer are friends in real life. Nice.

How does money get to the troops? Is there another site where you can buy the video?
