Juliet and Jack?

I don't know if this has been discussed before, but what do you think of Juliet kissing Jack? Is it just a new trick of hers or does she really like him? And how is this going to continue?

i dunno im still weary of juliette, she definatly double crossed the others, but i think shes out for herself rather than helping everyone else and latched on to jack because she sussed him out as the best person to help her get off the island

I think she's a lesbo.

I agree that Juliette's main goal above anything and anyone else is to get of the island. Having said that I still think she is a good and honest person. All the off island flashbacks we have seen of her have shown this IMO. And the flashback of her arrival to the island shows the same. It is only after her initial conversation with Ben about leaving the island that she realizes she is trapped there. I think this is the point that her personality changes and her actions there after reflect this change. Juliette is smart and resourceful and living with the others has made her stronger, but her desire to leave has made her more willingly to commit acts she never would have considered before her time on the island.
Well anyways thats my two cents............

One thing has bothered me about Juliette however, and it comes form the fact that Colleen, the chick who Sun shot, seemed to absolutely loathe Juliette's existence. Why?

The only time I had ever seen two women act like that was jealousy... yet Pickett stated Colleen was his wife, and seemed very much in love with her. So why was Colleen hating on Juliette so much.. because she had Ben's ear, was she hitting on Pickett because she saw him as a strong man to help her.. what? I kind of think that whole character dynamic was meant to represent something about Juliette, and that is mistrust.... sorry Folie, but I can't trust your avatar.

thats a good point cablerunner, but i always put it down to Colleen not necessarily being jealous of juliette more being a distraction to ben, not necessarily in a relationship way, but juliette was a fertility doctor and ben was obsessed with the fertility, and i think some of the others probably including colleen no longer thought this was the way to go, and so had some resentment for juliette as she saw her as distracting ben from the true cause of the others

or because maybe colleen was a born other and julliette was just recruited into them 3 years ago and yet seemed to have a fairly high standing amongst them, and she probably resented this 2

Funny you say that since she was in the HBO biopic Gia, about a really beautiful, captivating 1970's model who died of a heroin overdose. The model was played by Angelina Jolie. The actress who plays Juliette played the love of Gia's life. It was kind of hot.

To Colleen, Juliette was a newcomer and didn't deserve to have so much power / rank with Ben, and/or Colleen just didn't trust her.

p.s. The actress who plays Juliette did have a role on ER as Dr Carrie weaver's first lesbian lover. I knew when I saw her on Lost she was really familiar...

We know that Juliette had a relationship with Goodwin as they were in bed together just before the plane crash. And she was previously married in her former life. I don't see her having any romance with Ben, - he's too scrawny and bug-eyed, - yuck!! She's definately got her eye on Jack, whether for good or evil purposes,,,????
