I do agree with Cable - I think "Adam and Eve" are going to end up being Desmond and Penelope. I think they will make some sort of noble sacrifice... elevating Desmond even higher in my opinion of him.

Desmond IS going to die sadly. Because he has that "last book he ever reads" he will probably read it then sometime in the series. Unless he starts to become a more important character.

Let me tell you about that book--> I started reading Our Mutual Friend this summer! Dang! It is a very long (and slightly boring- eek! sorry Desmond!) book, there would be plenty of time for Desmond to reconsider killing himself while reading that book (it's that slow of a read), he might die of boredom instead.

LOL That is funny Queen.. I also feel that Penny and Desmond are Adam and Eve..

and if it is as boring as Queen says it is maybe he won't finish it and never die! Since it was the last thing he wanted to read before he dies or maybe there is another mysterious copy by the caves somewhere... LOL

I don't know why, but I still feel like Des and Penny aren't Adam and Eve. I may be wrong.

It seems too obvious. Also since Des and Penny are still alive I don't see how this is possible.
I think it should be the DeGroots, but I think D and C already confirmed that Adam and Eve are not the DeGroots.

Maybe it is Annie and some guy she hooked up with. This pissed Ben off so he killed them?? IDK.......

maybe we will find out who adam and eve are in season 4, i think they are possible from dharma who maybe excaped the purge, and died together soon after, but they were opposite people hence the black stone and white stone.

oh yeah, I forgot about the black and white stones. I guess the stones play apart in who Adam and Eve are, maybe it points to them not being a couple at all.
