John Lock Timeline (unofficial)

KEY: (?) A guess I made

***PLEASE READ*** think these could be the dates because of when Locke inspected Nadia’s Home in California.. Sayid said that he had been searching for Nadia for seven years… He was in the republican guard for 5 years.. When he helped Nadia escape must have been about 1997… So that plays a role.. Then on Lostpedia when they say he was working in a discount store (about 10 years ago) which would have been 1994.. I used this info to fill in as many blanks as I could.. Still working on it though =)

5/56- 5-74

·Is given up for adoption and raised in foster homes
·Turns 18 on 5-30-74

·Mother meets with him.
·He meets Father & they bond

***Note*** John Locke is at least 4 years older than Ben Linus due to the fact Ben was born in the 1960's

***Note*** Name of Locke’s business is “Welcome Home”

***Note*** Age at crash is 54

***Note*** Ben and Locke's Mothers Both were Named Emily. Though I think they are different women

(??????????)What Could John Locke have been doing from 1974- 1994?? any guesses.. I mean from 18-38 years old we don't know anyathing about him. Could he have gone into the military after he turned 18 and served 20 years and that is why we don't know yet? Looking for any ideas or comments here to help(?????????)

Wednighter... I'm stuck on something from one of the last episodes. I think everything Ben says is important, and in the o where Ben wants John to kill Cooper at the 'sacrificial totem pole', Ben turns to the onlookers after Locke doesn't kill Cooper and says...

"He's not who we thought he was."

Do you think the Others are waiting for some sort of savior. Do you think that maybe Locke is reincarnated from someone else who had a purpose on the island long before? It would kind of make sense since his crazy mother says he was immaculately concieved. Does anyone know if Locke has 4 toes?

i think the others were waiting for some sort of savior. they seemed excited at johns arrival in their camp, but who knows really

What Richard said to Locke after the incident at the ruins where he did not kill his father!

RICHARD: You mind if I, join you here.

LOCKE: Nah sure.

RICHARD: He wanted to embarrass you.

LOCKE: I'm sorry?

RICHARD: Ben knew you weren't gonna kill your own father. He put you in front of everyone in our camp just so they could all watch ya fail.

LOCKE: Why?

RICHARD: Cause when word got back here that there was a man with a broken spine on the plane who could suddenly walk again, well, people here began to get very excited because that, that could only happen to someone who was extremely special. But Ben doesn't want anyone to think you're special, John.

LOCKE: And why are you telling me this?

RICHARD: Ben has been wasting our time with novelties like fertility problems. We're looking for someone to remind us that we're here for more important reasons.

LOCKE: What do you want from me?

RICHARD: I want for you to find your purpose. And to do that, your father has to go, John. And since you're not gonna do it, I'm gonna suggest someone else.

What are the more important reasons though..... I can't wait to find out

but do we know that Richard was telling Locke the truth... ben could have told him to do that or anything

I think most of what Richard says is truth.. I think its the way he says it that makes some of us question what he is saying...

When it come to info about the island I think Richard is going to know the most because so far, aside from maybe Jacob he has been there the longest

Sorry all looking at it more I think this is closer to the real timeline. Lostpedia info to contradict the one I originally posted so lets see if this works...

1974-1992 (I used 1992 since that was the year on the file of when Emily Locke was instituationized that the investigator got for Locke when he found his real parents)
Unknown

1992-1994(I used 1992-1994 since it would be from when the investigator gave him the info on his parents to when Lostpedia suggests he worked for the retail store about 10 years before the crash)
Works for a retail store of some kind
Hires an investigator to find his real parents after being approached by Emily Locke in the store.
He meets Father & they bond
Cooper cons him out of his kidney

1994 (Lostpedia Info from precrash timeline)
Locke joins a farming commune in Northern California and picks up Eddie, a hitchhiker. After six weeks, commune leaders Mike and Jan find out that Eddie is a cop there to bust them for growing marijuana. Locke promises to take care of the problem by killing Eddie, but proves unable to pull the trigger (Jan said that Eddie was recruited "fresh out of the academy", and the records they showed Locke indicated he became a police officer in 1994). ("Further Instructions")

1994-1999 (Used these dates since it was sometime after the trouble at the commune until just after Nadia would have escaped and be trying to start over)
