Vincent?

I've been rewatching seasons 1 & 2 - and I have a mystery! Vincent jumps on the boat with Michael and Walt when they are leaving the Pala Ferry. Vincent is on the boat with them when it pulls away from the dock. How can Vincent be back on Lostie island carrying skeleton arms with VW keys out of the jungle?

When we see him on the boat it was bonus footage and he wasn't supposed to be on the boat.. I checked it out before when I was watching it....

Yea he brings the arm out of the jungle to Hurley and Charlie and that is when he goes looking for the Dharma VW

That's right, because he left Vincent with Shannon.

Wednighter - are you sure, because I was watching the bonus season one dvd and one of the producers, directors, whatever? says this is the last scene they shot for season one and it's the one where Michael, Walt, and vincent leave on the boat and they put vincent on the boat. I never heard anywhere that that was a mistake. I'm willing to believe it, but tell me where it is that it was an error so I can check it out. Otherwise it's weird, right?

Scenes in the Season 2 DVD extras showed Vincent in the Pala Ferry boat with Walt and Michael. Although he was never seen to be with them at the end of "Live Together, Die Alone", this led many to believe Vincent had left the island with them. This was later disproved in "Tricia Tanaka Is Dead".

I don't have time to find the original one I found I did find this for in the mean time... I will get more info tonight when I have more time

Thanks! My point being, just because Vincent showed up in Trisha Tanaka is dead doesn't mean on THIS particular island, that it really is Vincent. - I've heard rumors that the smoke thing can take different shapes

btw - if it was an error why did they put in on the bonus dvd. I would think that that would create SO much confusion! Why even bring the dog to the set that day for shooting if he's to be with Shannon. (But then I thought since the dog ran off from Shannon, and then she was killed, maybe Vincent wandered over to that side of the island and was reunited with Walt.) I saw a plausability there with Vincent on the boat.

ok just to clarify things. We are talking about the boat that Ben gave Michael after he betrayed Kate Sawyer Jack and Hurley right? Not the raft that Michael built.
Cause when the raft launches Vincent runs out into the surf and Walt tells him to go back.

The cut of the season 2 finale that aired with Michael and Walt leaving on the boat given by Ben doesn't show Vincent at all.
The DVD show bonus footage with Vincent but this not what aired on tv and so no big deal IMO
