Where ever this Asian dude decided to film the oreintaion from could have significant meaning, it's location is not from the island. I remeber seeing exit signs in the background during the oreintation and I don't remember seeing any in none of the hatches or where the "others' work or live at. Can someone verify this?

Which oreintation was it from... I'll be happy to check for ya if I know which one.. Or were you thinking all?

The first time Jack and Locke see the film I believe it's called oreintation. You can see in the background their is an emergency exit sign like any commercial business is required to have under permit.

Actually, weren't there exit signs in the medical hatch? I don't think it was filmed on island either, but we haven't seen all of the hatches or perhaps dorms or somethink like that yet.

I just checked the orentation on the swan... You are correct there is an exit sign visable... I can not tell if it is infact behind Marvin Candle or if it is a window behind him and dark out behind it which would make it a reflection but it is there...

Just from memory I do believe that the place that they took Claire to did have an exit sign, but like I said I do not remember for sure and will check...

Ok... I just watched this part with closed captioning and Russo says that this is the dark territory... this is where it all began.... this is where my team got infected.... where MONTAND lost his arm...

I just checked out Maternity Leave.... I did not see any exit signs from either the flashbacks to being there or while Claire, Kate & Russo were there looking for medicine for Aaron...

What I did see is on one of the doors in the "staff" hatch said 'escape hatch'.... I honstly do not know if this was brought up I just wanted to let everyone know what I saw when I checked it out...

Oh! YOu know what I mean - they used a computer-thingy to put new picture-thingies onto old picture-thingies.

How do I know... hmmmm..... well.... there are production photos on one of the other unofficial Lost websites that are for the backstory of Nikki and Paulo and what they've been doing up until now. I found those pictures and I looked at those pictures and those pictures contained, among other things... scenes from the pilot episode where Jack runs down the beach and Shannon is just standing there screaming, etc... and implanted into those pictures are Nikki in a flowered little dress and Nikki aiding Dr. Artz (who is injured), and that when I went back to the original season one pilot episode and rewatched the plane crash I didn't see the girl in the flowered little dress and so on and so on....

i think that from season 1 nikki + paulo was not meant to be in lost
however in season 3 maybe the writers needed more losties because jack, ecko is gone and syaid, kate and locke have gone looking for him
