Lost Star Loses House In Fire

How sad. And right before Christmas. I hope they were able to save some of their belongings.

(CBS) The home of actress Evangeline Lilly went up in flames Wednesday morning while the 'Lost' star was on the set of the ABC drama.

A publicist told The ShowBuzz that Lilly is safe and that there is no further comment at this time.

The blaze ignited before 6:30 a.m., and firefighters responded to a call within 20 minutes, the Honolulu Advertiser reports. No one was injured in the fire.

Neighbors told the newspaper that the fire destroyed Lilly's Kailua home, which she rents with two other women who also work on the show.

"I woke up to my dogs barking," neighbor Morgan Janus told the Advertiser. "There were loud, popping sounds, like something electrical."

The newspaper said the fire was out by 7 a.m. and soon after firefighters were able to enter the home. Bars on the windows of the house slowed the firefighters, the report said.

According to the Advertiser, the cast of "Lost" is scheduled to break for Christmas tomorrow.

Reports say that Ms Lilly's vibrator was plugged in and recharging, but was left on and set to stun.

I hope they got the pets,if any,out.

Peg, I am so sorry, but I had to say it! I am very relieved that no one was hurt in the fire, least of all the very lovely Miss Lilly.

I just saw this on Inside Edition. They had footage of the house going up in flames! Very sad to look at, esp before xmas. They had photos of her sitting in the blackened house. Dominic showed up and walked away with a few frames with photos in them. Her roomate was there, her look-alike stunt double (very darn close to a twin to EV Lilly!!!).

Yes I say we leave it there until someone complains about it being offensive. I am pretty sure you can use that phrase on LOST's rating limit.

I imagine she has another home, but getting anything burned is no fun, especially limbs.
