Mr. Eko

Eko, also known as Mr. Eko or Father Tunde, was one of the tail section survivors of Oceanic Flight 815. He was a notorious war lord and drug smuggler in Nigeria before his brother Yemi's death. To get out of his country he hastily became a priest, but after Yemi's death, he seemed to take his role more seriously. Eko survived on the Island for 72 days before he was killed by the Monster.

Locke used to annoy me too being so headstrong about the hatch and talking
about how beautiful the island is. I don't understand why he hit Sayid over the
head when he was trying to triangulate their position. Why not let the others get
rescued and he can stay behind.
But I do look at him as a hero because he keeps a cool head. Jack bursts
into tears every hour or so or starts ranting and raving in moments
of stress . He is too emotional for me.
Locke keeps his wits about him and concentrates on the problem at hand,
gets in done and them moves on to the next.

Locke holds the islands secrets, he seems to sence whats going on. The only problem with this is he finds no reason to tell anyone- which leaves us, the fans- so happens, in the dark. Locke has inexpressable knowlegde about everything, but he doesn't wair it on his sleeve. He's also the only one who seemed to understand Walt, who's a very important character, though his need hasn't been fully expressed. It's been quoted from writers that if there ever was a key to get off the island, Locke would hold it: but the thing is, he'd swallow it first. If there's one thing we've learned of Locke, it's he likes the island and its affects and challenges, so don't expect any saving!

I think Locke has been set up for a fall again. His life before the Island was like mine, duped, everything falls apart, turns to ashes and blows away..If I were there, and my old self,I'd never leave, specilly now there's a horse.

Jacks character got me in to the show in the first episode, but when Locke recieved his very own episode I was obsessed. Locke continues to know more than any of the other losties, he never ceases to amaze me with his choice of words and timing.

I also relate my thinking to Locke's. He believes that there is a greater good than 2 whining 20 year-olds (Shannon Boone).

Some do not think that people must die to get to the secrets of the island. But, there is alot to learn about Lostie island, and a long hard way until they learn some of it.

Locke knows where he is going, I respect that.

Well, in my opinion, he is creepy. Always has, always will. You'll never know what he's after. And, come on! He wanted to shoot Jack in "Through the looking glass"!!!

I did not fail to remember, actually, I just thought of Locke saying: "I am going to shoot you, Jack." Guess I believed him.
