So i have a major problem with Henry Gale's other's character's name being Ben. Personally i take offense. I would have prefered almost anything else that wasnt blatantly racist or offensive, but there is nothing good about Henry Gale. I Wish we had put a better beat down on him when he was our captive so he knows we mean business... or maybe so Sawyer can call him Limpy or whatever.

Anyways, Back on track... so The word ben means good or something similar. beneficial, benefit, benihana ( good food) benevolent, Benchmark, eggs Benedict, Bender ( from futurama) , benediction, Benga ( a style of african poppular music!), Bengal tigers, benison ( a blessing) really there far too many... and none of them are negative.

Therefore, i propose we only refer to Henry Gale as such! He should keep that name of the dead man he probably had a hand in killing...

he does not deserve such a good name...

Biblical reference of the name Ben means son of the right hand. Maybe he is the good son of the Dharmist creator when the island started... thats why he is the "leader bean" (simpsons ref). or maybe he is the evil son and he killed the good son and his father like maculy culkin...


but seriously... Henry Gale til death... His death...

It wouldn't be because you don't want the guy you hate to have your name would it?

Personally, I think his character is starting to act a bit to childishly. And he is becoming whiney.

JediToad you are awesome and i'm glad you replied to my first thread. You have good things to say on this forum. Henry Gale IS interesting... but i dont like him. Stick to your guns... keep using ben, it is a hard name to have objection to.

please... jack on thier side... Possibly, but not any time soon. I highly doubt he trusts jack enough to go under the knife just yet... and the more he keeps lying and hurting people... the less likely Jack will find it in himself to cure him.

I actually take offense at him using the name "Henry Gale"...it is not his name, and for all we know the real Henry was a great guy, and Ben is stomping on his memory by using his name...so he will be Ben Linus as far as I'm concerned - until he gives us yet another name...
