I suppose, if you're keeping track, but not everybody would. So, yes I do think it's odd, especially since it's a TV show and the script writers called it to our attention that Rose knew EXACTLY what day it was. I know after 90 or so days on an island with no schedule, and presumably no calendar, I would have completely lost track

Again, a TV show. Rose has had a quiet confidence about her, and the script writers choose to show this for a reason. She also had the same quiet confidence about Bernard - she "knew" he was alive - and the script writers chose to show us this for a reason.

Didn't mean to strike a nerve here. I'm with you... I wish Hollywood would portray less immoral activity as normal and make more shows that you can watch as a family. But we have what we have, which is why a show like Lost has such a broad appeal - it's good because it makes you think, instead of relying on sex and violence to draw an audience.

I'm glad they scripted Rose and Bernard to have such a great relationship, and TV could use to show more great relationships, but the reason I can't believe a couple can have a telepathic connection has nothing to do with a cynical society - it's because we can't communicate telepathically, no matter how great the relationship.

And sinister? Never said it. Just calling attention to clues in the script that are leading to something. What that is, I don't know, but remember scripts are purposely written a certain way for a reason, things don't "just happen!"
