Well, I like the idea, and the creators are obviously students of history and literature... maybe they are trying to recreate Atlantis (they being Dharma) or like I have said before, this may be so far in the future, that these are the ones who will be repopulating the earth. We saw Adam and Eve, long dead, and a ship that's under 200 years old in the middle of an island that takes millenia to be created. Perhaps the losties have been cryogenically frozen, a definite topic on the Hanso Foundation website, they are now ready to be unfrozen and are... I don't know, being tested to see who is ready for the new world that is way different than the one they remember.
