Dogs get us to feed them, love them, play with them, give them shelter and keep them healthy. They know a good thing when they see it.
I wouldn't have it any other way. As for who would be the leader, it's a tough call. The terriers have the tenacity to pull it off but the bullmastiff is one impressive beast. In the end I think I would vote for the original canine, the wolf.
