The more I think about it, the more I'm convinced that the Oceanic 6 have something up their sleeve concerning these three people (or at least one of them). I think they want Widmore to believe they have some knowledge that they really don't, possibly something Libby told them. I believe Libby was working for Widmore before the crash, and was planted in the Santa Rosa mental health hospital to watch Hurley.
