Desmond David Hume
Desmond David Hume was the lone resident of the Swan at the time of the Flight 815 crash. He was discovered by Locke, Kate and Jack a month later after they had blown open Hatch. After his failed attempts to leave the Island, Desmond joined the camp of survivors. Following the destruction of the Swan, Desmond gained a mysterious ability to see flashes of the future, with which he predicted Charlie's imminent death.

once they are back to civilization, isn't anyone asking questions about the child? how do they allow her to keep him?
|
Well, half of Claires family is a ghost on an island and the other half is a vegatable, so Kate is the obvious choice. You know, since she's shown much motherly instinct in the past and was an upright citizen. Good question pchee.
I think the biggest media question will be... "dude, you were on an island for 100 days, and got FATTER!"
Wait, that's a statement.

I'm worried about the same. Fingers are crossed though.
Oh and why are alot of the actors bigger, fatter and more out of shape than compared to when they, this show, started? Odd. Why no one monitors their caloric intake for continuity is odd to me.

To quote Hurley from the first (I think) season, "Dude, I've dropped two notches on my belt!"

I was thinking of this post when Hurley said, "Dude, was that question directed at me?" Nice job guys!
I did catch a little bit of Josh Holloway (Sawyer) on Jimmy Kimmel last night. When he was asked if his character dies or is eliminated as they get off the island he said, convincingly, that he didn't know. But then added that he stays on the island and the island remains a huge part of the show so, something to the effect of "I feel okay about it b/c I'm with the big guy".
Here's hoping! The last few weeks I get all worried that something's going to happed to Sawyer. I've really come to love him! Guess he appeals to Kates... Confession: I got a little teary when he walked out the forrest holding Aaron like that!
