Yes, I totally cried at that moment. So cool! (I did a whole lot of crying and cheering during this episode.) They're finally reunited because she finds him. Nice twist! Made me wonder if the whole 8 years he was on the move to find her, if the reason she was so hard to find was because she kept moving trying to find him.

The Oceanic rep woman said there was someone waiting for Sayid who was not on his family list. Nadia was probably being guarded in order to keep the reunions private and to keep the secrets secret.

Kate kind of gets on my nerves too but I did feel bad for her when they opened that door and no one was there for her. It was even worse when Hurley grabbed Sayid and introduced him to his family, why didn't Jack bring her over to his Mom?

Kate used to be kick as$, but, alas, she has fallen from my good graces as well.

I felt bad that she was there alone, it would have been nice if one of the other survivors - Jack - could have looked over and saw that, and brought her over to meet his mom. Especially since she was holding the baby.

Well they were all pretty much caught up in the moment of seeing their families for the first time a long time, but yeah they all could of noticed there was nobody there to greet Kate and bring her over so she'd feel not left out. But they also know that she was in custody of a U.S. marshall when she was on the plane and they didn't want to bring attention to how close they've been together and what really had gone down about how the plane crashed.

I guess I was busy being impressed with Hurley's gesture and his parents' friendliness to Sayyid

I think it all played up the truth that she's cut all ties from her past with her actions. Had someone been there (her stepfather, maybe even her estranged and sick mother) I think I actually would have been disappointed at that.

Did anyone else kinda hate them getting off the plane? I want the island! Ijust rewatched the episode and it seemed like an alien invasion as that cargo door opened.

Not hate for me, but I see what you mean and agree with you. Sure that 'off the island' part of the narrative had to unfold at some point of the show, but I'm more into the island and its history..

I really didn't feel much either maybe because we knew she was going to walk from all the legal issues she had..For me i think that had some barring on the way i feel about her for some reason.
