also, one of the pilots of the chopper right at the beginning of the ep was rubbing a rabbits foot. he said that he had it because the cargo he was carrying was "bad mojo" (the 815 survivors)

That comment by the pilot made me wonder if he really knew the truth about what had happened to them (or in part at least) and that they were all about to lie to the entire world.

I thought the rabbit feet were a nice touch. Especially since, aren't there some scenes where rabbits are used by Dharma for experiments within the Orchid station? (I just read about that on here somewhere...)

Rabbit feet and Jesus statues... they've got everyone covered in this episode. j/k

I noticed that too this morning when I rewatched it.. The white rabbit foot key chain on hurley's new keys, the plane on the ride into the military base and from the Dharma Van..

I think it was important too.. Just not sure why..
